After strolling Queen West Clothing Stores the last few days, I thought I’d share my fav stores. Spring is almost here, and if you’re anything like me, you’ll be out shopping for some great new spring additions to your wardrobe soon. I’m by no means a slave to fashion, but there is something wonderful about getting a few new pieces of clothing to welcome in a new season.
So where do you like to shop? Do you generally head to the mall – Yorkdale, Sherway Gardens or the Eaton Centre? Or do you head to the great boutique shops in Toronto? Personally, I will shop the malls – but I always like to check out smaller boutiques for interesting or unusual pieces that will be unique, like me.
I absolutely love the Queen West stores – always lots of great finds. So here are some of my top picks from a recent shopping trip:
HUSH VON OSAFO – 851 Queen Street West - Everything about this store says quality – quality fabric, quality design, quality service. I think the pieces are extremely well designed and structured to flatter a women’s figure – but if they are not quite right, they will tailor them on site. If you are looking for a suit – this should be your go to place for great quality, excellent fit and very fair prices.
Ziliotto – 764 Queen Street West - Gorgeous clothes, really easy to wear, really comfortable – again great quality and great shapes. I could easily buy up this entire store. There is also a great video blog on the store’s website if you are looking for fashion advice.
Ann Hung – 829 Queen Street West - Sexy styles, great use of colour blocking, easy to wear, easy to care for pieces. I totally suggest going in and trying the clothes on – you will fall in love.
Clearly there are a lot of great stores on Queen West – these were the stand out stores from my recent shopping trip. If you don’t generally shop the boutiques, I’d like to encourage you to give them a try. I love the pieces I found, and I love that I’m supporting local stores and local manufacturers too.
Queen West stores – another reason why I love where I live…
